Diary of a solo traveler wandering around Europe

Camper van 02
You return to your room, sit in front of a screen, seeking validation for your discoveries. You watch countless videos on YouTube and realize that to narrow the radius of your pendulum, all you need to do is fly to Germany, go to a used car lot, announce your arrival, select a Wohnmobile that meets your needs, pay for it, and drive. Simple, right? Well, it turns out, it’s not quite that easy.

Goodbye Turkey, Hello Europe!
This method of taking care of other people's homes and pets is one of the cheapest ways to explore foreign countries. Aside from a little food I buy during my stay, I have no expenses. In contrast, I have a bike, a bed, a shower, a toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, and everything at a five-star level. Yes, and there are bunnies that you just can't help but fall in love with.

A summary of the Lycian way
Along the trail, where there are villages or towns, you can find accommodations in local guesthouses or set up a tent on the outskirts of the settlement. In most cases, you can find cool, good drinking water, but there are instances where certain maps indicate a water source, only to later find out that the water source is dry, blocked, or has disappeared. The locals are friendly and hospitable, and almost always, for a modest fee, they will serve a warm and hearty meal.

And there was evening and there was morning, Day Three
I will only say that words were spoken and tears were shed, and then, and only then, our true friendship was formed. We decided to rent a room at the Le Marden Spa Hotel in Tekirova and rest for two days.

Lycian Way part 02
I am completely engrossed in horror films of various kinds when suddenly I sense a presence behind my left shoulder. In a swift motion, I turn my head and see a man smiling at me through golden teeth and in his hands a rifle.

The Lycian Way Part 01
On April 18, 2023, I'm on my way to meet her at The Old House Hostel in Antaliya. Each of us is carrying a backpack weighing between 11 and 13 kilograms, containing everything needed to camp in the wild for at least two days: 3 liters of water, a tent, a sleeping bag, an inflatable mattress, cooking utensils, a compact camping stove, two sets of clothes, trekking poles, food and more.

Alex, the car and Hakim
Unbeknown to me, sitting in that room is a fairly burly man who is just about to have his very late, very warm lunch, all shoved into an oval pita bread, and when I push that door open he has just taken a huge bite out of that pita and it is boiling hot and oozing Tahini all over his face. "Bon appetite, and excuse me. Can you tell me when my car will be examined?"

Cut the Bull...
Thus, this entire journey would not have happened without the process I went through to free myself from everything that held me in the place I was stuck in - my comfort zone. So when this blog has readers, and some of them say, “What the heck is she rambling on about?” I will reiterate that without learning how to breathe in and out, and without the flow of whatever it is in my body, and without a bit of mindfulness this entire journey would have never happened.

First and foremost: get rid of the piano.
The decision to leave your familiar and beloved comfort zone and to put your current life behind you is, to say the least, a challenging one. Beyond all the emotions you experience, there are also many technical matters to address. You have the house you live in, whether it’s rented or owned by you, there’s the car that needs to be sold or stored, and depending on how long you plan to be away from your homeland, you may need to notify certain authorities about your time abroa

What is a Camper Van?
I would like to leave this country in a camper van. But there is a but. In English you have the word "camper van" because you have a tradition of using camper vans as a means of traveling and vacationing. But in Hebrew there isn't a proper word for "camper van" because a) we have nowhere to travel to and b) it is not part of our heritage. So, before we embark on our journey, let’s find a word for CAMPERVAN. A caravan in English is CARAVAN, and a caravan is a trailer pulled by
